How To Get Registered As A Dental Assistant

Are Registered Dental Administration exempt from overtime pay in Alberta?

I am a healthcare worker, and my fiancee is a dental assistant. I make double time frequently and bask the high pay for my hard piece of work. My fiancee, notwithstanding, works ix-10 hours in a day quite frequently, and she has never been paid overtime. They keep her under 44 hours so I've never seen if they start paying at that point since she only works four days a week. She asked colleagues nigh this and some take been in the industry 15+ years and have never gotten overtime after 8 hours in a day, only later 44 in a week. Is this legal? She is not believing and volition non go to her bosses about this unless I can effigy out if it's actually exempt. I did some googling and tried looking through the employment standards lawmaking and only constitute exemptions for "professionals" which includes dentists, just dental assistant I feel is a big difference. I never actually looked at her pay stubs until this twelvemonth, so I wish I'd known before.
